Scott Murrell The 20-year old, who has spent the past four years as part of Leeds Rhinos is hailed for big things this season. A fantastic young prospect who looks a really class recruit. Tipped to be the standout performer in the National League this season the tag certainly doesn't look like breaking off. With several impressive displays under scotts belt and now settling down well with Webster things look really good in the halves this season for the Robins. Murrell is also a Great Britain Academy player and has toured Australia and is a former player with amateurs Drighlington ARLFC. Although a half-back Murrell can play in other positions and the bubbly character has joked: "I don't mind where I play so long as I get a game. I'd turn out at prop if asked"
"HULL KR clinched the signing of young Leeds Rhino star Scott Murrell thanks to the super rovers fans and the club has lost no time in paying tribute to them. Chief executive Paul Lakin said: "We are delighted to have signed Scott, and this signing would not have been possible without the fantastic fundraising efforts of the Rovers? Supporters? Group. And at this point I would publicly like to thank the RSG members for their fantastic efforts. They have provided the cash which has enabled us to pay the fee Leeds required for Scott and once again this goes to show how invaluable RSG membership and fundraising ability is to Hull KR, said Lakin." | | Name: Scott Murrell Date of Birth: 05/09/85 Height: 82 KG Weight: 5ft 11
